The “5 Stars of Pau” competition is the exceptional event and the only French competition among the six high level in the world. For 32 years, the best riders and drivers from 16 nations have been represented. Many French and foreign visitors come every year to the Sers de Pau estate to attend the two equestrian triathlons: the CCI 5* L eventing competition and the driving with the Crazy Cup CAI 2*, a first edition that promises great spectacle. This new one-horse driving format is what is called a “combined marathon”: a very technical 800-metre course that combines marathon obstacles (harnessed cross country) and maneuverability obstacles (cones), in two runs (Saturday and sunday).
The greatest champions in the world compete in Pau such as Tim Price, the winner in 2021 as well as the bronze medalist couple at the Tokyo Olympics formed by Nicolas Touzaint and Absolut Gold*HDC will represent France for this new edition.
