Economic activity is holding up, but beware of the resurgence of inflation. French growth decelerated in the third quarter, with GDP rising by only 0.2% after a jump of 0.5% in the spring, according to data released Friday by INSEE. On his side, inflation picked up sharply to 6.2% year on year in October after slowing in August and September. At the same time, from TotalEnergies to Safran via Air France-KLM and Danone, many companies are announcing good results or turnover.
