Hadrien Bect and François Beaudonnet receive Audrey Vuetazauthor of the Podcast “trait d’union” and journalist at Public Sénat, and Alain Guillemolesa journalist specializing in Europe at The Cross.

In his political career, the new French Prime Minister has spent more time in Brussels than in Paris. European Commissioner, chief negotiator of the EU for Brexit, Michel Barnier has visited all the European capitals. And one of the first files on his desk at Matignon will be the excessive deficit procedure opened by the EU against France. The Prime Minister will have to battle with Brussels and in particular with the institution from which he comes, the European Commission.

Also on the menu of Les Informés de l’Europe: the return to school of the European Commission. Ursula von der Leyen was reappointed for a second term as President of the Commission by the heads of state of the 27 and then by a vote of the European Parliament. This summer, she formed her team of European commissioners, what is called the “college”, the European government.
