In a few days, “Tomorrow belongs to us” will celebrate its seventh anniversary on TF1. Indeed, on July 17, 2015, viewers of the first channel discovered for the first time the faces of Ingrid Chauvin and Alexandre Brasseur in this new fiction. 1,231 episodes have been shot in five years for a soap opera which is watched on average by 3.2 million viewers every evening of the week around 7:10 p.m. A mass of work that employs no less than 350 people, including 200 technicians, divided into three teams and who work every day on 25 recurring sets. 100 minutes are shot each week, which is almost the equivalent of a feature film.
In this regard, Victoria Abril testified a few months ago to this infernal, even exhausting pace. “It’s true that we go five times faster than for another series. I shot twenty episodes in four weeks and I thought I was dying of physical and mental fatigue.“, she confessed for our colleagues from Télé 7 Jours. “This represents sixty hours of work per week, sixty pages of dialogue to memorize over the weekend for the following week…”, explains the one who plays the role of Rebecca Flores. “At the end of June, I stopped what I was doing in Spain to devote myself body and soul to the creation of Rebecca Flores. I am her number one fan, I love everything about her: her freedom, her brotherhood, her principles […]”, analyzed Victoria Abril. “Now that the shooting is over, I have a strong blues. I miss Rebecca terribly. I hope the public will appreciate it and demand its return.”
But the number that gives the most dizziness is undoubtedly that of the kisses exchanged between the different protagonists of the program. Indeed, the lips of the heroes touched or kissed no less than 570 times. Enough to give rise to some twists and turns within certain couples.
