Omicron explodes the figures for the Covid-19 epidemic in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The incidence rate reached this Friday 736 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the region on average, including 1,365 for the Territoire de Belfort, 602 in Haute-Saône and 770 in Doubs, according to the latest report from the Regional Health Agency (ARS).

The Omicron variant is detected on more than half of the tests made since the beginning of the week. 850 people are hospitalized for Covid-19 in the region, including 137 in critical care and resuscitation. 83 patients are at the Nord-Franche-Comté Hospital for Covid-19, including 9 in intensive care.
