A commitment that is close to his heart. This Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Muriel Robin and the Secretary of State for Children Charlotte Caubel were the guests of Apolline de Malherbe.
A passage in the morning of BFM TV during which the two guests wanted to raise awareness througha shock prevention spot which will also be broadcast at half-time of the Rugby World Cup match between France and Namibi on Thursday September 21.
“Sexual violence against children is a well-kept secret. Every three minutes, a child is the victim of incest, rape or sexual assault. If you have the slightest doubt, call 119”is thus recalled in this shocking video.

“Mister everyone”
Questioned by Apolline de Malherbe on the reason for coming to her set alongside the Secretary of State, Muriel Robin explained on the air why this cause was close to her heart: “There are plenty of fights, I am already very committed against violence against women”she first recalled.
“I shot a TV film which will be shown on October 2 on TF1 and which deals with this subject (incest) and I found this subject very well treated because it shows that the one who commits incest can be Everything- the-world. We can have a dad who can be any dad who ticks all the right boxes… But there is a moment of horror”she recalled.
And to conclude: “It is important to remember that the incestor is not a monster or a psychopath… […] Because if he were that, he would be hiding to act and he is not hiding. So we have to get out of this system where we treat the victim medically and the incestor too… we have to get out of that, it’s not the right path, we need something political”, she proposed under the gaze of Charlotte Caubel
. Today, it is estimated that one in ten adults experienced incest as children. A strong message, but essential when we know that a third of French people say they have at least one victim of incest in their entourage. A number that sends shivers down your spine…
