Koh Lanta is back ! On February 13, the cult show made its comeback on the first channel with a brand new season entitled: The Immunity Hunters. The opportunity for viewers to discover new faces. Unfortunately, two of the selected candidates have already said goodbye to the island. A week after Steve left, it’s Alicia who left the adventure.
The day after her elimination, the young woman spoke at length in the columns of Voici.fr. During her interview, the latter notably returned to the physical challenges which were particularly difficult for her. “To be honest, I hadn’t prepared at all, I hadn’t done sport for three years.” she explained before revealing that she suffered from an incurable illness. Information that she never mentioned in the program.

“I was seen by the production doctors”
“I have cystic fibrosis
. I have been seen by the doctors, I am doing very well, I have very stable cystic fibrosis. But I knew that athletically speaking, I wasn’t very good.” she added. But had she warned production?
“Of course. I was seen by the production doctors on several occasionsand there are doctors on the island. Besides, I thank the production for giving me a chance, because it’s rare today a production that gives a chance to people who are out of the ordinary. It’s not because we’re sick that we can’t have dreams, that we can’t have a survival adventure.” she indicated.
And to conclude: “I wanted to prove to the whole world that just because we’re different doesn’t mean we can’t, I thank them for trusting me. But there was no risk at all, doctors are present before and after the testsand on the camp if we need it. Not all productions would have given me this chance. I have deep respect for them.” Touching declarations.
