Mobilité Montréal provided an update on Wednesday on the major roadworks that will hamper traffic in the greater Montreal area this fall. The Highway 40 corridor is likely to cause motorists a lot of headaches, according to the organization responsible for mitigating the effects of transportation construction on traffic.
The maintenance and reconstruction work on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge will result in the complete closure of the bridge during the weekends of September 6 to 9 and September 21 to 23.
Highway 40 West, between Highway 15 and Highway 520, will be closed to traffic during the weekend of September 13 to 16 for road reconstruction work.
More details will follow.
