Violent controversy arose on social networks following the accident caused by Pierre Palmade on February 10, 2023. As a reminder, the famous 54-year-old comedian was driving under the influence of drugs that evening, when he violently hit a car coming in the opposite direction, on a secondary road located near his home in Cély-en-Bière. The collision having led several people to the hospital, Pierre Palmade was first placed under judicial supervision, then assigned to residence with an electronic bracelet before the Court of Appeal finally decided on his placement in provisional detention in the prison of Fresnes.
For her silence, her lifelong friend Muriel Robin has been lynched on social networks for several days. Some relatives of the comedian, on the other hand, have the courage to speak up to comment on his problems with addiction. This Wednesday, March 1, 2023, it was his former producer, Claude Fournier who spoke, live on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste”: “I’m afraid he won’t be in the ring on game day […] Let’s get him back in shape so that when the time comes, he can be there to answer for his actions” he declared before adding: “His life is shattered… What theater will hire him?”.
Faced with Cyril Hanouna and his columnists, Claude Fournier agreed to come back to the day he surprised Pierre Palmade taking drugs for the first time: “It was at the Cannes Film Festival, we were eating with journalists, Pierre and other artists, and then I didn’t realize it because I talk a lot, and there’s a journalist who said to me at one point: ‘your artist often goes to the toilet!’ I went to see this that it was happening downstairs, the door was not closed…” he recalled.

Cyril Hanouna breaks a record
If the Palmade affair sadly fascinates the French, the presence of the former producer of the comedian on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” attracted more than 2.5 million viewers on C8. A record audience for the channel and therefore for Cyril Hanouna who flirted with 2 million for a long time but who has just won over half a million more people.
