Denise Bombardier is not anymore. Her employer, the media group Quebecor, has indeed announced the death of the 82-year-old Quebec journalist. She suffered from kidney failure and was able to leave this world surrounded by her loved ones. Following the announcement of her disappearance, many personalities wished to pay tribute to this great feminist voice, starting with Laurence Boccolini.
Indeed, the host, who decided to leave “Everyone wants to take its place”published a tribute to Denise Bombardieron his Instagram account. “Disappearance of the courageous Denise Bombardier who had dared to display this dirty guy on French television”, notably captioned the one who leaves her daily game. The one who revealed the hidden face of Philippe Bouvard also wanted to recall that the 82-year-old journalist had indeed always shown courage, especially when she expressed her opinion on Gabriel Matzneff in 1990, in full broadcast.

Denise Bombardier, feminist above all
The writer and Denise Bombardier were guests of Bernard Pivot on his show “Apostrophes” on Antenna 2. During the broadcast, the journalist wanted to ask his guest about his attraction to young girls. An attraction that Gabriel Matzneff has never hidden. “Why did you specialize in high school girls and young girls? If you’re over 20, it’s clear that you’re no longer interested”asked Bernard Pivot, making the writer smile.
The main interested party then defended himself: “It’s mutual too. I’ve never had success with women 25, 30 and older.” In addition to this defense, the writer, now 86, explained what he appreciated in younger women, whom he considered, at the time, less “hysterical” than older women. These remarks made Denise Bombardier come out of her hinges.
“I think I live on another planet. Monsieur Matzneff seems pitiful to me […]. He tells us in his book that he sodomizes young girls aged 14, 15, that these young girls are crazy about him…”she was indignant at first on the set of“Apostrophes”before adding: “We know that young girls can be attracted to a man who has a certain literary aura.
