This Tuesday, May 31, Cyril Hanouna was found guilty of defamation. The court sentenced him to a suspended fine of 500 euros for defamation. The host of Do not touch My TV on C8 was prosecuted for having made remarks in his program of February 25, 2020 on the Zahia affair, pointing to possible paid sex between the young woman and a Swiss businessman Yves Bouvier, as reported Le Figaro.
That day, he had received Abousofiane Moustaïd who had just announced that he had filed an appeal for review against the decision which had condemned him for pimping in the Zahia case. Baba had introduced him saying, “It is thanks to the unpublished testimony of an escort girl that Abousofiane, you hope to obtain the revision of the trial since Sarah, a 49-year-old escort girl, declared that it is the Swiss businessman Yves Bouvier who would have been behind Zahia’s paid sex and not you“.
Abousofiane Moustaïd was found guilty of defamation for having declared, in front of the host: “What is very important precisely on this file is that the escort girl who testified gives addresses and especially very specific trips between spring 2009 and spring 2010 where her companion, without mentioning his name, he himself had taken the plane tickets so he knew Zahia’s age very well (…) She lied to everyone except him who knew about it“.
