the host of TF1 suffers from a genetic disease!

Camille Combal is on TF1 again this Friday evening. Viewers will find the host for a new issue of “Camille & Images” from 9pm. What few know about Camille Combal is that the host is suffering from a genetic disease “quite widespread: keratoconus”. Reason why he decided to take care of his body. The presenter has been doing a lot of sport for several years now. “I have three to four times a week for running or fitness. It’s more cardio than muscular. I have a healthy lifestyle with a healthy diet,” says Camille Combal in the pages of “L ‘Team’ last August.

His illness really changed his daily life and forced him to undergo several surgeries. “My two corneas are convex, they must be replaced by grafts. One eye has already been operated on and I will soon be doing the second,” he explains. Heavy interventions which forced him to put sport aside. “When you are transplanted, you spend a year without sport so that your eye heals well. I am committed not to practice extreme or violent disciplines”, said the husband of Marie Treille Stefani before concluding: “Someone ‘ one gave me a piece of him, I must respect this gesture “.

Aware that his case is not exceptional, Camille Combal impatiently awaits this new transplant. “It’s the life of many people and I put up with it”, concludes the host. One thing is certain, this disease does not prevent Camille Combal from exercising his profession. In 2018, he left the bank of “Touche pas à mon poste” to join the TF1 group. Since then, he has been at the helm of many programs broadcast on the front page. We think in particular of “Dancing with the stars” whose 11th season ended two weeks ago, “Who wants to win millions?”, “Plan C” or even “Mask Singer”. Many projects that Camille Combal manages to reconcile with her private life. His wife Marie is believed to be currently pregnant, according to “Le Journal du dimanche”. The young woman is expected to give birth in 2022.
