Since the end of the year-end vacation, the queues in front of pharmacies and analysis laboratories have not abated. With the explosion of the Omicron variant, and the new protocol implemented in the National Education in particular, it is the race for tests. Every day, thousands of samples are taken in our region. So, to strengthen the testing system, the hospitals of Tulle and Brive, in collaboration with the Civil Protection of Corrèze, in turn offer antigenic tests, the results of which are known within the hour. These new slots will be provided in the afternoons, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with meeting point in Brive or without meeting point in Tulle. This new measure should make it possible to relieve the pharmacies of Correze which carry out on average about fifty antigenic tests every day. It should be noted that these antigenic tests are added to the niche of already existing PCR tests.
