The hidden power of trees: the pine

The pine culminates between 15 and 45 meters. Its life expectancy is estimated at several thousand years, depending on the variety. Maritime, woodland, parasol, Douglas fir: pine can live on poor soils. Weather resistant, its large root grows parallel to the ground and protects it from strong gusts of wind. Know that pine needles make an excellent mulch for strawberries because their acidity prevents grass from growing. They wisely replace straw and repel slugs! From a walk in the middle of the pines, you benefit from the therapeutic effects of the odorous molecules released by the needles which clear the respiratory tracts. It is an antibacterial and antifungal, a free and effective anti-inflammatory. It can relieve bronchitis, colds, coughs and other laryngitis.
