Jean-Daniel Flaysakier, doctor and journalist, has died. For thirty years he embodied health on Télé Matin and then in all the newspapers of France Télévisions.

The bow tie at each of his airings was a real signature for Jean-Daniel Flaykasier. The former health specialist of the France Télévisions group died Monday, October 11, at the age of 70. The spectators of Telematin remember his benevolent presence on the set, from 1985 to 1991, in particular thanks to his many giggles, which earned him a place in the blunderbusses of the television channels.

Despite his recurring activities in journalism, Jean-Daniel was above all a doctor who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tours. He had gone to Africa in particular to vaccinate the population against hepatitis B. Absent from the audiovisual landscape since 2018, Jean-Daniel has never left medicine, working at the Gustave Roussi institute in Villejuif and following women suffering from breast cancer. The France Télévisions group loses a ferryman, but above all a friend.
