After several postponements, the President of the Republic presented his roadmap for ecological planning on Monday September 25. The objective is to reduce our CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030.

In 2030, 15% of cars should be electric, RER trains could run in several cities and coal should have disappeared. These are the objectives set by Emmanuel Macron Monday September 25 with, among other things in the automobile sector, one million electric cars produced in France by 2027, relying on four large battery manufacturing factories. To make these cars affordable, a leasing system, long-term rental, will be put in place.

A 40 billion euro plan

RERs should see the light of day in around ten cities such as Lyon (Rhône), Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) or Nantes (Loire-Atlantique). The State will release 700 million euros to finance them. As for the exit from coal, it is announced for 2027. Twox power plants still produce them in France. To finance these changes, 33 billion euroshave puton the table this year and 40 billion euros next year. The government is also talking about resuming control of the price of electricity in October, without specifying the levers for the moment.
