Sylvain Lelièvre will join the prestigious Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on August 7. The Limoilou-born songwriter will be inducted by his precious collaborator Daniel Lavoie during the show What have we done with our dreams….tribute to Sylvain Lelièvreat the Jean Duceppe Theater in Montreal.

“Here lived Sylvain Lelièvre (1943-2002). Singer-songwriter, outstanding figure of Quebec song, he bequeathed an impressive musical, literary and poetic heritage,” reads a blue commemorative plaque installed at 245, 8e Street in Limoilou, in Quebec.
