France’s most famous animator is about to celebrate his 80th birthday on September 12. On the eve of this big date, Laurent Ruquier invited Michel Drucker as guest of honor for his Sunday program “Les Enfants de la télé”. On this occasion, the presenter of “Vivement Dimanche” had the joy of receiving many birthday and friendship messages from celebrities, such as Gad El Maleh or Nikos Aliagas. But what a surprise to see Florent Pagny appear, visibly in great shape! In recent times, the singer, suffering from a lung tumor revealed in broad daylight in January 2022, had indeed remained very withdrawn from media life.
“You take good care of yourself”
But for the birthday of Michel Drucker, the latter could not not speak: “happy birthday michael”, he said at first while on set, the main interested party seemed very moved to see him. And to continue: “Happy 80 years, four times 20 years. It’s true that you are doing very well. You take good care of yourself. You will be able to attack I think your fifth 20 years to come. You may be the only TV man in the world who will present a program at 100 years old”, continued, very smiling, the interpreter of “Savoir Aimer”.
Reassuring images that warmed the hearts of Michel Drucker but also of all the singer’s fans, relieved to see that he is much better. The presenter, particularly touched by the attention of the artist, does not fail to tell this anecdote: “Florent, it means a lot to me because in another life, I wrote a book called Chain, which was adapted for television. It was the story of a man who takes the Eiffel Tower hostage (…) and the trainee who plays my role in the film was Florent Pagny.”
