France Bleu Provence is a partner of “Jazz en sol minor” in Gréasque from Thursday July 7 to Saturday July 9, 2022.
Many free concerts and two gala evenings at very affordable prices, will make you experience three unique days, during which different groups with varied musical colors follow one another and perform in various places in the village: the site of the Mining Museum, the squares in the village center and the open-air theater in the Château de Gréasque park.
Come and appreciate its eclecticism, quality and friendliness!
Programming
The festival will begin Thursday, July 7 at 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.), with a free concert at the Musée de la Mine, a listed historic centre, with the Big Band of the CNRS from Marseille.
Friday July 8 in the village center of Gréasque at 6:00 p.m., Basilic Swing, a group of gypsy jazz, gypsy and Klezmer music, will perform a free concert on the Cours Ferrer.
At 7:30 p.m., Swing Box will take you back in time with an original and varied swing repertoire on Place Félix Lescure during the meal…
At 9:30 p.m., head to the Théâtre de Verdure at the Château de Gréasque, to find Nicolas Gardel, he will tell us the story of the trumpet in jazz:
The next day, Saturday July 9 2022 at 6 p.m., new free concert in the village center, on the Cours Ferrer with MIOTTO. This Duo has fun with climates, dynamics, improvisation, sound colors by revisiting the great standards of jazz.
The meal will be hosted free of charge by So What at 7:30 p.m. around the Place Lescure fountain, on the program: the great standards of funk and soul revisited!
At the end of the festival, an invitation to travel at 9.30 p.m. to the open-air theater of the Château de Gréasque with Alfio Origlio & Célia Kameni 4 heads
