The grass snake of the Ardèche gorges

Olivier Peyronel is one of the guards of the national nature reserve of the Ardèche gorges where the bugloss snake is very present.

She looks a lot like the viper, she even goes so far as to take a slightly aggressive posture when she is harmless.

She is a good hunter, she is sometimes seen trying to swallow small fish that are three, four centimeters wide and easily ten centimeters long.
