This is the first time that Las Vegas will host the prestigious gala honoring the actors of the music industry, on the occasion of its 64and editing. Comedian Trevor Noah will host for a second consecutive year, as announced last December.
The event had been postponed to the beginning of January due to the risks surrounding the Omicron variant, without any date being revealed; it was then still scheduled for the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Last year, the ceremony was postponed to March.
With eleven nominations, Jon Batiste is the most nominated artist this year, followed by Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and HER, who all have eight nominations. Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo are nominated in seven categories.
The evening will air at 8 p.m. on CBS.
