At least 40 of the 234 survivors of the humanitarian ship ocean viking must be expelled to their country of origin, announced Tuesday, November 15, the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin. “Of these 234 people, at the time when I speak to you, all the procedures not having been completed, 44 have been recognized as minors, 60 can apply for asylum, in particular Syrians, Sudanese, Eritreans, 44 see themselves now a refusal of their asylum request”listed the minister, in the National Assembly.
