This war in Ukraine is already having very strong consequences on our economy. INSEE predicts inflation of 4% in March. The government detailed, Wednesday, March 16, its support plan for the most impacted sectors.

Faced with soaring energy prices, the government is reducing expenditure on gas, electricity and fuel, and is taking measures for the most affected sectors: fishing, agriculture, transport and construction. First component: reduce the company bill. The State will cover half of the excess energy expenditure. All companies are concerned, for a total cost of 3 billion euros.

Jean Castex also returns to the fuel discount of 15 cents per liter from the 1er April. The reduction extends to natural gas for vehicles and to LPG. The Prime Minister asks the oil companies to make an additional gesture. Partial activity will be facilitated, existing agreements extended by twelve months and new contracts are possible. Weakened sectors are also supported, starting with fishing. An envelope of 400 million euros over four months will be allocated to breeders.
