A new government formed this evening
Stayed 1h30 at the presidential palace, Gabriel Attal left the Élysée on Thursday January 11 at 3:30 p.m. after a new interview with the head of state. According to AFP, Bruno le Maire would be confirmed in Bercy as Minister of the Economy, Gérald Darmanin for the Interior, Sébastien Lecornu for the Armed Forces and Éric Dupont-Moretti for Justice. Prisca Thévenot, former Secretary of State for Youth and Universal National Service, is appointed government spokesperson and succeeds Olivier Véran.
