Sylvie Retailleau, Minister of Higher Education and Research, announces that the annual budget dedicated to prevention will double, from 1.7 to 3.5 million euros per year.
The objective: to increase the number of personnel trained in these questions. The main student organization welcomes this progress, even if it remains insufficient. In a university that has experienced several cases in recent months, the president believes that training only staff is no longer enough. “We must train, for me, on a mandatory basis, all students who set foot at the University of Paris-Saclay”, says President Estelle Lacona.
