The temperature of the gymnasiums will drop by 2°C, the lighting in the stadiums will decrease by 30 to 50% and the water in the swimming pools will be cooler by 1°C. In Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes), the gesture divides. If some are willing to make the effort, a parent fears that the measure will deter children from swimming: “There are energy savings that can be made widely elsewhere than here“.
A bonus of 100 euros will also await, from January 1, new registrants on carpooling platforms. For its part, the State wants to be exemplary. Hot water will be cut in the toilets, as in that of the Ministry of the Economy. Agents will be encouraged to telecommute on successive days to reduce heating. In exchange, they will obtain a revaluation of the telework bonus of 15%. Private companies will have to make efforts, in particular through a reduction in heating and lighting.
