The Minister of the Interior has initiated a procedure to dissolve the Remparts, a small ultra-right Lyon group, according to information from franceinfo on Thursday May 2, confirming an article from Progress.
Grégory Doucet, the mayor of Lyon, has long campaigned for the dissolution of this small group and the closure of its premises. On February 14, the environmentalist mayor of Lyon explained on France Inter that he had already “written three times [au ministre de l’Intérieur] Gérald Darmanin and once the President of the Republic” to demand the dissolution of small ultra-right groups active in his city.
Last December, Gérald Darmanin responded to Brut. Asked about Les Remparts and a possible current or future procedure against this small group, the Minister of the Interior replied: “Yes, the police and intelligence services are working on it.”

At the beginning of February, the former spokesperson for the small identity group Les Remparts, Sishina Milinov, and another person were sentenced to immediate imprisonment for a racist attack perpetrated outside a bar in the center of Lyon. . Last December, the small ultra-right group Division Martel was dissolved. In February, the Lille ultra-right association La Citadelle was also dissolved by the Council of Ministers.
