The Gien faience factory hit by a cyberattack

The Gien earthenware factory has been the victim of a cyberattack since Thursday February 17. His computer system is affected by malware, as announced by La République du Centre, and confirmed by the gendarmes of Loiret. Specialized investigators mobilized

The Gien earthenware factory lodged a complaint, with the police. An investigation is open to try to trace the thread of this computer attack. The file is entrusted to the Interregional Directorate of the Judicial Police of Bordeaux, already seized for similar cases.

The C3N, the center for the fight against digital crime is also mobilized in this case. This is a national unit specializing in the fight against cybercrime, which intervenes in support of the gendarmerie in this type of case. This is the first time that the Loiret gendarmerie has used it.
