The Giants of the Sky in Chauvigny: a good plan!

The medieval hill of Chauvigny requires breath when you climb it on foot and it is the most appropriate way to climb up there, in this other time. The medieval city is dear to Isabelle Mayau from Les Bons Plans d’Isa et Marion (Instagram, Facebook). This little corner of Vienne with its castles: Harcourt, Gouzon, Montléon, the Tour de Flins, the Château des Evêques and its Collegiate Church of St Pierre, its plunging view of the Talbat is a beautiful place where we like to come back.

And then in the chauvinistic sky there are strange birds: eagles, vultures, owls, falcons, storks… This is only a brief overview of the residents of the Giants of Heaven, because that is where Isabelle wants to take us today.

The castle of the Bishops or Baronial castle stands out at the top of the Medieval City and it is there in this gutted building, open to the four winds that you can approach the birds with the keepers and watch the show.
