Salvador Dali shook the twentieth century with his madness and his genius. He is the subject of the latest film by surrealist director Quentin Dupieux, in which five different actors take turns playing the Catalan artist. It was necessary to represent the icon of the surrealist movement which was interested in interior worlds, dreams and fantasies.

“He brought something which is very important, it is the taking into account of his inner emotions, of this delirium of his imagination, and to make a representation which is quite organized“, explains Jean-Christophe Castelain, editor-in-chief of the “Journal des Arts”. The Spanish artist liked to create an event and put himself on stage in front of the cameras.
