The gendarmes of Finistère save a young man from suicide

The gendarmes of Plougastel-Daoulas have saved a desperate young man, who was trying to jump from the Albert-Louppe Bridge (on the Elorn, between Brest and Plougastel) last weekend.

Two gendarmes have managed to hold it back by the sleeves of his jacket as he let go of the guardrail and began “to go into the void”. The young man was hospitalized.

The gendarmes recall that help exist and in particular a emergency number, the 3114 in case of suicidal thoughts.
