A precautionary reflex from Gard motorists
The queues are getting longer, but according to Christophe Perrin, Head of the Interministerial Defense and Civil Protection Service with the prefect of Gard, “Gard motorists rushed to service stations at the beginning of last weekend when our department had no supply problem. The volume of purchases was immediately multiplied by two or even three times causing the drying up of many stations. A precautionary reflex as we have seen recently for oil or pasta”.
