It is a brand that the Manceaux have known for more than 30 years: the Galand brasserie and pastry shop, located at Place de la République in Le Mans. As retirement approaches, the owners have decided to sell the business, via the real estate agency Art’Im. The offer, estimated at 1.4 million euros, is aimed at restaurateurs “in the same tradition as Galand”, explains the agency. “It won’t be fast food.”
Galand will not become a fast food establishment. “- Art’Im real estate agency
“Emblematic business in the city center”, immediately announces the real estate agency Art’Im on its site, spotted by our colleagues from Sweet Fm. “Iconic”, because Galand is present since 1985 at 46 place de la République. The price of this historic brand is set at 1,300,800 euros, agency fees included.
Three potential buyers have shown interest, since the sale on October 1, but no offer has yet been made. The buyer would, a priori, be a restaurateur. “It is unlikely that a wine merchant or optician will take up an offer at this price “, explains the Art’Im agency.
