The association
The friends of Burkina association finds its origins within the association AMIS (Aide Médicale Inter Sanitaire) founded several decades ago by Mr. Jean Couturier in Chatillon sur Chalaronne in Ain and whose branch was created in Veauche in 2003 by Mr Alain Touron.
Its purpose is to carry out in common all voluntary actions of assistance to the population of BURKINA FASO, in particular within the village of BOULSA, among which:
– The development of sponsorship of orphaned or very vulnerable children: school support, clothing, food, access to medical care, etc.
– Support for a primary school with 540 pupils in the province of Namentenga: school supplies, canteen, health, education.
– Vocational training for young people and especially young girls: carpentry, welding, mechanics, hairdressing, sewing, soap making.
– The development of partnership and solidarity actions: support for the dispensary, orphanage, associations for the disabled, the blind, youth and sport (football, cycling), parish, support for very needy cases, etc.
– The search for the financing necessary for the realization of the activities.
