Saturday, November 20, at the Stade de France, the French rugby team signed a resounding feat by triumphing over New Zealanders (40-25).
Twelve years after their last victory over the All Blacks, the Blues won on Saturday, November 20 against New Zealand. Largely favorites, the New Zealanders were crushed by the France team. A victory gained in pain. Facing the best team of the world, the Blues were not impressed by the New Zealand Haka. Indeed, from the start of the match, the French opened the scoring by scoring the first try of the match.
In the first half, the XV of France unrolls its rugby and scores three tries. As we seem to be heading for an easy victory, the All Blacks score three tries in the second period and come back to 27-25. However, the French find the necessary breath to go and register a fourth attempt, that of liberation. The Blues finally win 40-25. This is the biggest victory of the XV of France against the All Blacks. A prestigious success two years before the 2023 World Cup in France.
