A few years ago, B2O gave a chance to a young man from Hauts-de-Seine named Beni Mosabu, better known under the pseudonym SDM. In contract with the label 92i records the rapper broke through thanks to his title The area. A piece which quickly allowed him to give birth to an album entitled Ocho in which he shares the microphone with many key figures such as PLK, Fally Ipupa, Koba LaD, Maes, but also his mentor.
Years after its beginnings in the music industry, SDM has nothing more to prove. But if the career of the little protege of Booba is well and truly launched and he is now recognized as a rapper, some of his projects have been aborted. The latest? Yesterday again, a song in tribute to Charles Aznavour. On January 3, 2023, the interpreter of German racing car took to his social networks to announce very bad news. “Yesterday again was deleted from the album, because Mr. Aznavour’s family had it removed. Peace to his soul, he is an incredible artist from whom I will continue to inspire myself. No hard feelings & Peace on the family, we keep moving forward”he wrote.

Far from having mourned this memorable piece, SDM wanted to reconsider the decision of the singer’s relatives. “I love his song, Hier encore, which is one of my ten favorite songs. We used a sample of the original version, we played our recording to Aznavour’s family, who didn’t not been seduced by the idea. We changed the instrumental and we released the album. Except that then the heirs asked us to withdraw the song because there were also two sentences in the text taken from the version original. Yet they had heard my words, but hey”, he confided in the columns of Parisian this Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
Although he had no right to integrate Yesterday again to his album, SDM does not intend to abandon his creation. “The song has disappeared from the platforms, but I will probably sing it on stage, that I have the right”.
