The French language prize awarded to Brivist author Pierre Bergounioux

With the price of the French language, it is a new recognition for the Corrézian author Pierre Bergounioux. Already awarded several literary prizes, this new distinction salutes the body of an abundant work, of autobiographical inspiration with Corrèze as a backdrop.

Born in Brive in 1949, Pierre Bergounioux will officially receive the 2021 French Language Prize in his hometown during the Book Fair November 5.

Created at the initiative of the City of Brive in 1986, the French Language Prize recognizes a personality from the literary, artistic or scientific world, whose work contributes significantly to illustrating the quality and beauty of the French language. A prize endowed with 10,000 euros.
