The French Football Federation was condemned by the Paris Labor Council for “breaches of its security obligations”, relating to acts of sexual harassment, the sports management of Radio France learned on Friday October 22, confirming information from the daily L’Equipe. The FFF is also ordered to pay 10,000 euros in damages to the complainant, in the part of the case which concerns the facts of sexual harassment.
According to the industrial tribunal, the complainant, a former employee on a fixed-term contract aged 23 at the time of the facts, has “suffered acts of sexual harassment” from the financial director of the FFF, his hierarchical superior. She says in fact that he tried to kiss her twice.
This employee had first filed a complaint in 2018 with the Paris prosecutor’s office but, after investigation, the case was dismissed. She subsequently decided to take action with the industrial tribunal, which therefore ruled in her favor.
