A conquered audience and volunteers
For volunteers and spectators, it is the return of competition after a year of absence. Among the volunteers, there is a real conviviality which Isabelle missed. “What I missed is also all that is off “, she says. More than a hundred volunteers come to help out with the competition. “We are a team who spend a week all together, who sometimes put aside our family life and our work to share together”, specifies Isabelle.
The spectators are marked by this atmosphere. “It’s true that yes, it gives me ideas to organize tournaments and perform for young girls especially”, is inspired by Catherine, president of a club in Charente-Maritime. Another thing that these tennis fans appreciate: the size of the competition. It is not very tall and allows you to have proximity to the players.
