“It’s a good step forward”, greets Thursday September 28 on franceinfo Yann Rouet, co-president of the French Association of Medical Regulation Assistants (Afarm), after the announcement by the Minister of Health Aurélien Rousseau regarding their monthly bonus. Aurélien Rousseau has in fact promised on franceinfo an increase of 100 euros per month in this specific bonus linked to their medical regulation function. Yann Rouet puts things into perspective and reminds us that he “There are still many things to put in place.”

The Minister of Health will also open a more rapid progression within the salary scale on which they depend, while the ARMs which respond to “15” demanded their own salary scale. “We’re waiting to see how it goes,” reacts Yann Rouet. The co-president of Afarm also wants “recognition from supervisors and room coordinators”. He pleads so that the latter “benefit from a real increase in salary, in terms of career prospects and real status”.
The French Association of Medical Regulation Assistants and the National Union of Medical Regulation Assistants launched a strike movement in July to demand a salary increase as well as hiring.
