New criteria

How to explain such a price difference? Floods, drought, fires… The proliferation of natural disasters cost insurance companies more than 4 billion euros in 2022. As a result, new criteria are driving up prices. Christophe Dandois, co-founder of Leocare, illustrates: “We have problems that we have seen in the South, in particular house materials that fracture and break.” Home insurance which should increase by up to 8% in 2023.
