Against health restrictions, the first French freedom convoys set off this Wednesday morning, like those blocking the Canadian capital. They leave from Nice, Perpignan and Bayonne, by truck, car and motorbike. And the Poitevins are called on social networks to swell the ranks this Thursday, after several stops of these convoys, in their ascent to Paris.
According to several Facebook pages, the stop is planned in Vienne at 4.30 p.m., République area near the North exit of the A10 motorway. There will then be a departure for Tours in stride. And then in Deux-Sèvres, a passage will take place by Niortat the beginning of the afternoon, then Parthenay at 5 p.m., before spending the night at the Grand Bornais roadhouse in Thouars.
