Antivax protesters are on their way to Paris. An exceptional device has been deployed to prevent the French capital from being blocked as in Ottawa in Canada. 7200 police officers will be mobilized all weekend in France.
Within the convoy of freedom, all have the same objective: to reach the Paris region. “It’s the first time I’ve climbed but I won’t go for nothing. I won’t go down again until all this is over”, claims a protester. A motorist, former “Yellow Vest”, declares: “We’ve been here for three years, we haven’t given up”.
However, the police headquarters has banned all gatherings. From this afternoon of Friday February 11, random police checks therefore took place on the Paris ring road. To better contain the convoy, a security device containing armored vehicles and barricades were deployed as well as more than 7,000 members of the security forces present throughout the weekend. Despite everything, the convoy of freedom wants to be in a good-natured atmosphere.
