Organized each year, the France Bleu market tour has returned to the roads of France and taken a gourmet break at the Mérignac market in Gironde on Saturday March 19, 2022. Let’s celebrate short circuits and local producers!
Every year, for a month, France Bleu leaves its studios and goes to the markets. Since Saturday February 26, the market tour has criss-crossed France in partnership with the CNIEL (Interprofessional Center for the dairy economy) and France Terre de lait. Gourmandise, discoveries, meetings and good products on the program of this tour which is in line with France Bleu’s commitments to highlight short circuits and territories. Among the 44 branches of France Bleu, the Gironde is therefore pleased to host this major event on Saturday March 19, 2022. It is in Mérignac that gourmets meet for a special program with Isabelle Wagner.
A tour and challenges in Mérignac in Gironde
A real event organized by the France Bleu network, the market tour aims to promote local know-how through the promotion of producers, craftsmen and catering trades from each region of France. This will also be the case in Mérignac, on Saturday March 19 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for this Gironde stopover. On the program: highlighting the short circuit and our territory. Quentin Merlet, chef of the Grand Barrail restaurant in Saint Emilion will have the difficult task of taking up a challenge: to prepare from the mobile kitchen present on the market a meal (starter, main course and dessert) for 6 people with 30€ in his pocket to spend with producers from the Mérignac market.
