Go this Saturday to discover the local products of our region, its producers and cook live with a chef who offers you to make a starter, a main course, a dessert for 6/8 people live with 30 euros!
We’re cooking together from Place Albert Thomas this Saturday!
France Bleu sets up on this occasion a mobile installation organized around a kitchen trailer and a radio space. Carole Chevrier will host her show live from Place Albert Thomas. She will be accompanied by a great chef from the Loire region. Together they will first do their shopping, then the chef will take over the kitchen truck specially made available to him to take up the challenge of the day:
With 30 euros, he will have to:
- prepare a meal for 6/8 people live, in front of you, with starter, main course and dessert
- while incorporating two dairy products
Once the challenge has been met and the meal prepared, the people present at the BIO market in Place Albert Thomas will be able to taste the dishes prepared by the chef
The organic market at Place Albert Thomas
It is at the foot of the Museum of Arts and Industry that we find the market of Place Albert Thomas. It hosts around sixty stalls every Saturday. It is one of the oldest in the city.
His particuliarity ? It only welcomes regional producers
Much more than a market, it has now become a veritable institution and it manages to attract many residents of the Loire every Saturday morning who come to stock up on food products. All the products offered are seasonal and mostly grown or raised nearby.
On the market gardeners’ displays, the tomatoes blush with pleasure at the sight of the neighboring radishes or the creamy white of the turnips. There are fruits, vegetables, but also meat, charcuterie, fresh or mature cheeses, as well as poultry, eggs, honey… And above all, we find this conviviality and warmth there every Saturday. human that makes us come back to it, one day or another.
