The Flyers’ short successes come to an end

The Philadelphia Flyers’ winning streak ended at two, as they fell 6-3 against the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Prior to their two wins, interim head coach Mike Yeo’s squad had lost 13 straight games.

In today’s matchup, the Flyers saw forwards Lucas Raymond, Pius Suter, Robby Fabbri and Dylan Larkin each amass a goal and an assist. Givani Smith and Vladislav Namestnikov (empty net) also moved the ropes in the Red Wings camp. Defender Moritz Seider was not left out, he who was an accomplice to two successes of his teammates. It was also the Michigan club’s first regular victory at Philadelphia in 25 years.

For the Flyers, Isaac Ratcliffe, Travis Sanheim and Scott Laughton beat goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic. In the case of the first on this list, it was his first goal in the National Hockey League.

Carter Hart protected the net from the crowd favorites for this duel. He gave up five times on 33 throws.
