This weekend, young and old are invited to come and discover the beginnings of the love story between Toulouse and airplanes. For this first edition, the theme of the event will be “The Line and the Desert”. It is here, on the site of L’Envol des Pionniers, that the history of Aéropostale and its legendary aviators such as Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Henri Guillaumet and Jean Mermoz was written. For nearly 15 years, mechanics, pilots, engineers, canvas workers, radio technicians, etc. have rubbed shoulders in Toulouse-Montaudran to achieve the feat: transporting mail by air across deserts, oceans and mountains to in Latin America. Pierre-Michel PRANVILLEpresident of the Association Friends of the Flight of Pioneers is the guest of Circuit Bleu.
