Active until a few years ago, Francine Chaloult was also the press officer for Bruno Pelletier, Garou and even Florence K in recent years. Rene Angélil’s trusted wife, she has long accompanied Celine Dion in each of her media appearances in Quebec.
Her husband, the journalist George-Hébert Germain, was also the biographer of the diva of Charlemagne. Widowed a few years ago, she is survived by her daughters: Dominique Chaloult, former director general of Radio-Canada television, and author Rafaële Germain.
