(Quebec) The Quebec flag will be flown at half-mast on Friday on the central tower of the Parliament Building, from dawn to dusk, on the day of the funeral of producer and impresario Guy Latraverse.
Parliament’s dimming lighting will be on from dusk until dawn on Saturday.
Guy Latraverse was one of the founders of the Quebec Association of the Record, Show and Video Industry (ADISQ) and the Francos of Montreal. Latraverse was also the subject of several tributes last Sunday at the ADISQ gala.
During his career, he represented numerous artists, including Robert Charlebois, Diane Dufresne, Yvon Deschamps, Charles Aznavour and Raymond Devos.
Latraverse was at the origin of major stage events in Quebec, including the show The lion, the wolf, the fox in 1974 with Robert Charlebois, Gilles Vigneault and Félix Leclerc and Pink magicDiane Dufresne’s concert at the Olympic Stadium in 1984.
Guy Latraverse died last month at the age of 84.
