Bruno Garcia from the Charente-Maritime fishing federation evokes on France Bleu La Rochelle “The national fishing festival”; the occasion of multiple events in the 2 Charentes.
What is special about this fishing festival?
Bruno Garcia: It will allow you to learn about fishing free of charge at the entertainment venues organized by the federation and its Associations. These days are to be marked with a white stone, it is a great moment for fishermen and especially for non-fishermen who will be able to practice fishing for free, without any formality, on 11 sites in the department. The volunteers of the AAPPMA will be at your disposal to pass on all their knowledge, and everyone will be able to take advantage of all the little secrets that will allow them to perform a little faster than when they learn their skills on their own.
Not everyone is interested in the same fishing technique?
It’s quite true, but there will be something for everyone, from the predator to the roach, passing the minnow, the bleak or the carp.
Open door to fishing then?
Indeed, this weekend destination, pleasure, sensations and conviviality. I recommend to all those who so far have not dared to move and come and enjoy this hobby.
